Deploying to devices

The client-side observers run on your people's machines, on macOS and Windows. This section covers how to get them there. There are two ways to deploy, and you can mix them.

Managed deployment

If you manage devices centrally, push the observer to a fleet through your MDM or RMM. Devices enroll and attribute to their signed-in user automatically, with no employee action. See managed deployment on macOS and managed deployment on Windows.

Manual install

If you do not distribute software centrally, each person installs Proxon themselves after they join your organization. See Manual install.

Whichever path you take, confirm your devices are reporting afterward. See Confirming data is flowing.
